Women's Competitive Programs

:: Canadian Provincial Program ::

Level 1 to 5 – Age Categories:
Argo: Age 7 to 9 
Tyro: Age 10 to 11
Novice: Age 12 to 14
Open: Age 15 & up
Each level has required elements of difficulty and composition.  Athletes are scored and recognized from the highest scores on down. Medals and ribbons are usually given. Opportunities to compete for places on provincial teams are offered (i.e. Western Canadian’s, BC Games) Provincial B gymnasts will participate in Level 1 & 2, Provincial A gymnasts will participate in all levels as they are ready. Competitive category is decided by the Head Coach in consultation with the athlete’s coaches.

  Petite Elite & Developmental Program
(ages 6 & up )
  Canadian Provincial Program (ages 7 & up )
  Canadian National Program (ages 11 & up )
  High Performance Program (ages 13 & up )
